About Tower of Hercules
The oldest working lighthouse in the world, built by the Romans in the 1st century AD. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. According to legend, Hercules buried the head of the giant Geryon here. The original Roman structure is preserved inside the outer shell.
