About LighthouseDB

A comprehensive database of 106 lighthouses from around the world with heights, years built, locations, and historical details.

Each lighthouse page lists the country and region, tower height, year the current tower was built and whether it is still active, followed by a short history of the light and its keepers. Search by lighthouse name, country or region, or start from the featured lights on the home page. Where a site has had several towers, the year refers to the present structure.
